The story of an 'ordinary' D-Day Cockney
soldier who somehow reached 'extraordinary' heights - like
so many others, it is a story of laughter and tears, of triumph
and tragedy.

A Veteran of the British Armed Forces is defined
by the Government as any person of any age who has served
in the Armed Forces. As a veteran you may at times have wished
for your old Identity Card. Research has indicated that many
Ex-Servicemen and Women aspire to having their former service
recognised and would welcome the opportunity to carry a form
of identification. Additionally, proof of former service can
unlock existing discounts on certain services and products
both within the United Kingdom and abroad.
|
Subscription
to The British Veterans Recognition Card scheme also provides
access to a unique range of bespoke discounts which we have
negotiated on your behalf. Our aim is to improve your quality
of life and reduce your cost of living by forming partnerships
with a wide range of companies who are keen to support Veterans
and recognise the unique contribution you have made to your
Country. For example, you could be eligible for a 25% discount
on your next holiday, or save 50% the next time you take the
family out to lunch.
We recognise the excellent ongoing work undertaken
by the many ex-service organisations on behalf of the older
Veteran and therefore, to avoid confusion, we have tailored
the partnership discounts with the younger Veteran in mind.
Our aim is for you to get the recognition you deserve, access
meaningful benefits and, ideally, recover the first year’s
joining and subscription fees within your first two transactions.
This card is for you.
To apply for membership you
have a number of options:
Call our Customer Services Department on 01376
513215 to request an application form.
Print out the online
application form and submit, together with supporting
documents, by Freepost.
|

All they have to do is to apply for their
discount card online, please visit www.bitecard.co.uk
for more information.
