This photo is of some ex-SomLI / DCLI & SCLI Pals together at the 1st Battalion day out at Beachley Barracks, Chepstow, with the Original Flag that used to be on the flag pole outside the Guardroom at Meccer Barracks - what memories came flooding back!! . Two of my mate I have not seen for 47 years the people in the photo the back two are Bob Betts & Harold Gurney, the front four looking at photo from left to right are Tony Read, Bruce Brain, John Yerbury & Vic Higgins. A good day out was had by all dispite the bad weather. (Picture by Vic Higgins)
